The Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO) is a decentralized price oracle built directly into the Songbird and Flare networks. Every voting round (~90 seconds), data providers submit price feeds on-chain. The protocol selects the median value and rewards accurate providers and their delegators in SGB/FLR.
ApexOracle aggregates data from Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, Bitfinex, and KuCoin using a weighted median algorithm — giving higher weight to exchanges with greater volume. This ensures accurate feeds even when individual exchanges experience outages or price discrepancies.
